Johnny Toler, the assistant head of the department, will replace Wilkinson. Toler brings 13 years of experience and a background in pharmacy to the position. He began his career at Mountain East Medical Center as an assistant druggist in 1975 and transferred to the purchasing department in 1978. Wilkinson will join the staff at City Memorial Hospital. “Bob’s abilities will be greatly missed at this hospital,” said hospital administrator Harry Illscott. “But I know that Johnny Toler is a person we can all depend on to do whatever is necessary to keep his department going. Philadelphia Zoo Makes History as Nearly 100-Year-Old Endangered Galápagos Tortoises Become First-Time Parents  by Caroline Welch It took nearly a century, but the Philadelphia Zoo has just welcomed four new additions , a fter decades of challenges in breeding and find ing a compatible mate for their resident tortoise , Mommy.     Long-time zoo resident 97-year-old Mommy and her 96-year-old mate, Abrazzo (uh-BRAHTS-oh), are now officially parents.      Four rare Galápagos tortoises have hatched at the Philadelphia Zoo, marking the first successful breeding of the endangered species in the zoo’s history.     The baby tortoises, each weighing between 70 to 90 grams, begin hatching in late February. NBC News reports that the eggs were laid in November and incubated under controlled temperatures to help determine the hatchlings’ sex.     The tortoises belong to the endangered Western Santa Cruz species.   Thousands of Attendees Gather in Washington, D.C., for the Annual National Cherry Blossom Festival by Caroline Welch Washington, D.C., kicked off its annual National Cherry Blossom Festival on March 20, drawing in thousands of visitors to celebrate the arrival of spring and admire the beauty of the cherry blossoms. On March 28, officials declared peak bloom for most cherry blossoms. Any remaining blossoms will gradually bloom as the festival progresses.  The festival, which attracts visitors from around the world, features parades, a kite festival, live music and cherry blossom-inspired drinks. Guests enjoyed these festivities alongside the stunning peak blooms surrounding the Tidal Basin.  The blossoms around the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial were a favorite location, as guests stopped to admire the vibrant pink and white petals of the cherry blossoms during sunset. Dealing with Anxiety as Christians

Anxious thoughts plague thousands of people. Despite our best efforts to put all trust in God alone, we remain fearful and stressed about situations which are out of our control. Yet, as commanded in Luke 12:25-26 (NIV), “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?” When we are anxiously filled with terrible thoughts, we must realize our anxieties have no influence on the outcome of our worries. We have no control over many aspects of life; only our Father in Heaven has the ability to control such things. 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV) says, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” So, the next time you are filled to the brim with anxiety and have overwhelming thoughts over things you cannot change, take a step back and give it all to God and allow Him to be the One you lean on when you are scared of the unknown.
